Recorded during 2000-2001, this mini-LP is a mostly beat-induced electronica with a noticeable dose of 60's jazz and 70's funk.
Bross recorded "As Quiet Things Roar" right before moving to the West Coast. It's an interesting contrast to his current work but it's still remarkably his style.
Bross's influences on this recording run the gamut from Miles Davis to turntablism to Brian Eno to film sound design.
This recording was released in 2001 and briefly available under the now-defunct SoundPlanet label. The year 2007 marked its re-release under the Deep Lever label.
